For Those Interested in Joining a Cooperative for the FIRST TIME

New Energy Contract starting 2011

Chamber Members who have not yet joined the cooperative are invited to join the Chamber Energy Cooperative to reduce energy costs starting this fall. Market prices are at record lows and the feasibility of obtaining lower prices is possible by Sept. 2010 for the next 36 months.

Deadline to apply for the Energy Cooperative Contract is September 24, 2010. Additional opportunities to join an Energy Cooperatives will be available.

Register Here to start the Energy Cooperative application process. The First Time Cooperative Application Fee $150.00 per location and Natural Gas Cooperative fee: $150.00 per location. The Cooperative application fee pays for the administrative costs of the energy purchasing cooperative and selecting a licensed energy supplier who is offering to sell the electricity or natural gas at a lower price than the utility Standard Offer Service Rate offered by the local utility company. Application fees are not refundable.

IMPORTANT: Participation in the Cooperative REQUIRES continuous membership in the Chamber of Commerce during the full term of the Agreement. If your membership is not current with the Chamber, you must bring your account current to participate in this proposed contract extension. Submission of the application for participation in the cooperative does not include fees for membership in the Chamber. If your membership is not current the application for cooperative participation will not be processed.

Chamber Business Membership dues are based on business size categories, which are determined by the number of full-time employees.
