Brandon Cortese, Hunter Metcalf, and Dejuan Price won the 2017 Carroll Biz Challenge for their business idea bookSwap. bookSwap is a mobile app for college students to buy and sell books, school supplies, and other dorm room items.
Kristen Ellis, owner of Enter Exit Escape, an exciting escape room operation, won the 2016 Carroll Biz Challenge.
Ryan Herbstsomer won the 2015 Carroll Biz Challenge with his ecommerce store Autumn Summer, offering handmade goods for men. Ryan operates his sites and manufactures a variety of handmade goods in Carroll County.
Steve Moore won the 2014 Carroll Biz Challenge with his business idea for a boutique running store, “Run Moore” located in Westminster, MD.
Dawn Pritchard won the 2013 Carroll Biz Challenge with her business idea Silver Linings Lavender Farm.
