Small businesses drive the economic engine of this country and our county. It is certainly always a visible boost to our local economy and community morale when a large business relocates here. There’s normally quite a bit of well-deserved fanfare, ribbon cutting, golden shovels, photo-ops, news coverage and local celebrities on hand to celebrate the new jobs coming to Carroll County.
